A desktop table tennis robot that recognizes a ball with a camera and returns it on a tabletop.
Overview
Takku recognizes a table tennis ball using a camera and returns the ball on a tabletop. The project included both perception and physical robot system design.
System Design
The robot arm and body were custom designed and built with an emphasis on human-like motion and appearance.
